On Saturday, December 9, 2023, the JNS held the Dutch Movie Screening of “The Conductor (De Dirigent)” at the FUJIFILM Nishiazabu Hall. About 60 participants, including JNS members and the general public, attended the screening. The film was a moving piece about Antonia Brico, a pioneering female conductor who faced difficulties and discrimination with her passion for music, despite being at the mercy of the times.
